Classic Car Design vous a proposé cette belle Ferrari 348 Spider. Celle que l’on appelle aussi la « petite Testarossa » arbore les fameuses grilles d’aération latérales. Elle hérite également de l’architecture à moteur en long des F40 et 288 GTO mais avec la boite de vitesse transversale. Ce modèle propose le combo de couleur idéal, rouge et noir, sportivité et sobriété…

A l’extérieur, la peinture est éclatante, soulignée par les grands écussons d’aile émaillés. Les jantes typiques sont en parfait état. La capote est facile à manipuler même si elle ne brille pas par sa sophistication. Le couvre-capote vient efficacement recouvrir son mécanisme.

A l’intérieur, la sellerie en très bon état. Pour une Ferrari de cette époque, on peut même dire que cet habitable est très au-dessus de la moyenne, la qualité de fabrication n’étant à l’époque pas le point fort de la marque de Maranello ! L’ambiance est sérieuse, mais peu importe, le principal est là : le petit levier et sa grille métallique. Joli détail, on découvre à l’ouverture du coffre avant la superbe mallette à outils en cuir siglée Ferrari.

Mécaniquement, Le V8 gronde grâce à son silencieux d’échappement inox. Elément important, la distribution est à jour. Un gros entretien a été fait chez Ferrari à Monaco l’année dernière. Le fonctionnement global ne souffre d’aucune critique, le dernier contrôle technique ne fait d’ailleurs état d’aucune remarque à ce sujet.

Beaucoup moins produite que les versions coupé TB et targa TS, la Ferrari 348 Spider est une des Ferrari à collectionner. Pure sportive mais déjà « suffisamment » moderne, c’est une vraie voiture de sport mais qui n’en est pas moins confortable et facile à utiliser, simple et efficace !

On the outside, the paint is bright, underlined by the large enameled wing badges. Typical rims are in perfect condition. The soft top is easy to handle even if it does not shine with its sophistication. The hood cover effectively covers its mechanism.

Inside, the upholstery in very good condition. For a Ferrari of that time, we can even say that this interior is very above average, the manufacturing quality was not at this time the strong point of the Maranello brand! The atmosphere is serious, but whatever, the main thing is there: the little lever and its metal grille. Nice detail, we discover when opening the trunk, the superb leather tool case with the Ferrari logo.

Mechanically, the V8 rumbles thanks to its stainless steel exhaust silencer. Importantly, the distribution is up to date. A big interview was done at Ferrari in Monaco last year. The overall operation does not suffer from any criticism, the last technical inspection made no mention of any remarks on this subject.

Much less produced than the coupe TB and targa TS versions, the Ferrari 348 Spider is one of the Ferraris to collect. Pure sporty but already "sufficiently" modern, it is a real sports car but it is nonetheless comfortable and easy to use, simple and efficient!
